Hey, wow, I'm suddenly better with death nova then the heroes.

Blood of the master? Damn, I don't have to estimate now.

I love the 'y' key.

Anyone found some skill they've found useful now? I should take a new look at taste of death. Maybe we can also re-examine AOTL PVP.

The problem with a human MB is that the results really arent going to be much(if at all) better than a hero running a MB. Running a minion bar yourself also takes away a possible hero option, of which there really arent many good choices

I found myself getting caught up in the unlife and undeath of my minion army.

10 health bars moving down some faster than others, I started using blood of the master more than I needed to.
I was paying more attention to that than anything else.

Its going to be really useful for targeting skills on individual minions and possibly working out which heal skills work well enough to perhaps replace blood otm.

all in all I am well impressed with the update.

I agree, Jagged bones is suddenly a more fun skill to use, went out VQing with the mrs and dropped a hero bomber and tried it myself.

Sooo much fun to use nova, jagged and putrid, I can finally enjoy seeing the yellow numbers and keeping a larger pool of minions alive easier.

So much free space on the bar too, brought the ebon ward of wisdom, and some other random stuff.

GG anet.

Now, can I have the old version of AotL back please?

Hero MBs are really damn stupid at using Death Nova. Half the time they cast it on a minion with 5 health and it dies before they finish, or they cast it and then spam BotM 3 times in a row.

When I first heard that they were adding a minion panel, I made squeeing noises on Vent -blush- I am SO looking forward to being able to have complete control over my minions <3 I'd all but given up on trying to be an efficient MB until this update

What? No OoU? You shame MMs.

Don't forget EBSoH. If you want to just get silly, have Volfen form from someone else as well. I think a single bone fiend would do somewhere on the order of 75 DPS with all of that?

If only other characters could see and target your minions on their minion list

It also makes playing OoU less suicidal because you can count how many Vamp horrors you have vs fiends.
And you won't overheal as much with BOTM.

Good MM's used to keep track in their head. This just made it easier.

If Feast for the Dead weren't on a 10 second recharge I'd be tempted to run bombing bars.
I still am, but Taste of Death isn't very satisfying and Putrid Flesh isn't all that strong for its cost. Besides, I haven't had a reason to try it yet.

Why would you put BoTM on a Bomber? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? It's the same for the people that use Masochism on a bomber. If your trying to blow things up why would you attempt to prolong it's life?

I don't run it, but it's for keeping the minions alive while moving between mobs. Masochism makes more sense though. DM+2=1 more minion (and better minions, and more powerful DM skills), and SR+2=more energy.

The most useful thing out of this update is the ability to use great dwarf weapon with ease on minions. Bringing Fiends is now strong again, and playing a bomber bar with GDW boosted fiends is a LOT of damage

Low level minions that enter a fight with lvl 28s without max health die far faster than a 2s death nova cast can react. If your minions just die before you get death nova on the entire build is a failure.

Masochism is just ridiculously useful. If you aren't running it you are bad.

I prefer to still run aura of the lich as my single minion skill, use once per group, no more minion spawning skills, then micro death nova as they die

Rest of bar is support skills for team, EBSoH, GDW, Flesh, Maso, SolS, etc
